Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours

Not yet rated

Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours is a small tour company that has it’s foundations in a true love of good food and great wines and the joy of sharing it with others.

Voted the number 1 Hunter Valley Tour company in 2011 & 2012 as awarded by the world’s largest travel community website.
We know the Hunter Valley well – my wife’s ancestors arrived in the Hunter Valley in 1853, planted some of the very first vines in the country and still make wine today. They just never left the region and why would you? With an amazing 140 different wine outlets, over 50 outstanding restaurants, stunning natural beauty and an abundance of wildlife and that famous lay-back ‘Hunter Lifestyle’.

Some people may get the impression that the Hunter is all about long, lazy lunches, a crisp glass of Semillon at 4 o’clock on the verandah followed by a delicious Hunter Shiraz in the evenings – well, there is a bit of that but we would like to tell you that we have thought long and hard about how we can best showcase our region and the experiences it offers, and we think we have come up with a number of different ways to let you enjoy our wines and food as well.

The Hunter Valley offers so much and it can be a bit intimidating at first so we have taken that away from your visit and on our tours will introduce you to the true characters, hidden boutique wineries & restaurants and some truly outstanding food.

All of us look for different experiences, but the guests that have enjoyed one of our tours already, all have one thing in common, they love great food and great wine and look for lots of fun whilst exploring the Hunter Valley.

With this in mind we have created a number of different tours to suit different people. All our tours offer at least one component unique to ‘Two Fat Blokes Gourmet Tours – an experience you will not find with any other tour company or if you were to explore our region on your own accord.

We invite you to find the tour that best suits you and join us, you will have a great day out, have a unique and personalised experience and probably have made some new friends by the end of the day.
